Discovering Pixelmator

My graduation to an actual graphics program began when I listened to Steve Jobs' yearly address to the Mac community. He mentioned a graphics program in the Mac App store that had exploded in popularity since the Mac App store debut. It was called Pixelmator. Unlike Photoshop, it was reasonably priced at $29.99. And for that price, I could use it on every Mac I owned. Even if Pixelmator only did a half-assed job, I was sold! The first thing I did when I got the program was re-did my Queer as Folk Firefox Persona:

I was impressed! Finally I could imput a size for my graphic and the output would actually BE that size, without any cropping! This improved my icons (no more annoying white space) and the things I could make were addictive. I only wish I had found it before I worked for hours on this manip, which maybe I'll try to redo some day:
