Universe, The: It's a Big Bang!

So I decided to use the time I spent making a calendar for my Brokeback Mountain friends for this challenge. The caps used for this calendar were supplied by my friend trekfan, but all of the rest of the work was mine. There's an alternate February because I decided it would look better if the font matched the rest of the pages and an alternate November because I got some feedback that the sheep were a bit busy, so I lightened them up a bit.

Hour 01:
00-30 Separate calendar .pdf file into separate months, save and check that it opens in Pixelmator.
31-60 Create 12 graphics files and resize to 8.5x11
Hour 02:
00-30 Sort photos and assign 12 photos to the 12 months, request alternates for July (too many Jack, not enough Ennis) from image source
Hour 02 31-60 - Hour 04 00-30 Resize January image, choose background color, search for and download western type fonts for calendar text and numbers, add text, numbers and choose colors for each
Hour 04:
31-60 Align numbers and erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 05 00-30 - Hour 06: 00-30 Resize February image, choose background color, adjust font for month and year, add background for black text, erase base calendar text
Hour 06 31-60 - Hour 08: 00-15 Resize and duplicate and flip March image, choose background color, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 08 15-30 - Hour 09: 15-45 Resize April image, choose background color, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 09 46-60 - Hour 11: 00-30 Resize May image, duplicate and lighten for background, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 11 31-60 - Hour 12: 31-60 Resize June image, duplicate and lighten for background, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 13 00-30 - Hour 14: 31-60 Resize August image, create background from part of original image, blend and blur and lighten, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 15: 00-60 Resize September image, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 16: 00-60 Resize October image, choose background color, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 17 00-30 - Hour 18 31-60 Resize November image, create background from part of original image, blend and blur, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar and text and numbers, create layer with background color for text and numbers
Hour 19 00-30 - Hour 20 00-15 Resize December image, recreate image text for calendar month and date, add numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers
Hour 20 - ?? Pick through July picture options, resize July image, choose background color, add text, numbers and choose colors for each, erase base calendar text and numbers. Redo February to match font for other months, lighten November background, touch up/erase lines on all calendars.
