For this challenge we were to make right sided icons and left sided icons of totally different things and then display them together as one. We could do up to 10 icons. I tried to make the left and right sides related in some way.

For the extra challenge, we were to make a piece of art that mushes two faces together. I chose TOS and AOS Spock and Kirk and it came out really creepily IMHO.

We did a Getting to Know You challenge over at

Originally posted a few weeks ago, but you guys ended up with Frank the Goat because some of these icons were similar to some in a contest. Contest has ended:)

Finally I was able to make some 100x100 icons without annoying teeny tiny snippits of white space that I wasn't quite able to get rid of when I cropped them. #s 11, 17, 21, 28, 40 and 54 won awards at

landofart,

sttos_stills and

torchwhostills.

First of all, let me apologize to anyone who got Frank the Goat yesterday. After I posted a bunch of "old" icons, I realized a few were similar to ones currently in a contest, so I'll repost that later.

Today we have some BINGO cards I made for

torchwoodland and

landofart, a coloring page, movie poster and Brokeback Mountain picspam, also for LOA and a couple of picspams and a sig tag I made for

lost_land. The sig tag I threw together on my work PC using paint, but I don't think I did too badly.

I got introduced to icon contests and wanted to join in. My method of creation caused many problems and limitations. I could create 100x100 icons in PowerPoint or Keynote, no problem, but when it came time to crop them to size, iPhoto just wasn't cutting the mustard. I'd get 101x101, 98x98, 99x100. I was beginning to get pretty frustrated. Still, here are some of my first entries for

sttos_stills and

trekicontest. Number 17 did actually win a Mod's Choice award.
